Swimming at Amherst Friday

The North Ridgeville boys and girls swim team will travel to Amherst on Friday to take on the Comets. The meet will be held at 6 PM at the Splash Zone.

Swim Coach Hired

The North Ridgeville City Schools Board of Education approved the hiring of Jason Young to be the head varsity swimming coach for the District at the September 3, 2019 special meeting.  The 2019-20 season is Young’s first stint as a swimming coach. He swam competitively for 11 years – from age 7 until he graduated

Swim Meeting on Friday

There will be a brief swim meeting for any student interested in Swimming this Winter. The meeting will be after school in the high school cafeteria. The new coach will be there as well.

Girls Swimming 200 Free Relay Breaks School Record

In their DIV I Girls Swimming Sectional meet, the girls swimming 200 free relay team broke the school record, previously set in 1991! The relay team consisted of Bethany Yonkof, Lauren Steinbruner, Lilly MacDonald and Jolie Roussat. Their time also qualified them for districts!
