Pay to Participate 2017-2018

 Please Note that Pay to Participate fees may be collected on Monday, August 14 between the hours of 7:30AM – 2:30PM and 6:00PM – 8:00PM as well as Tuesday, August 15 – Friday, August 18, 2017 between the hours of 7:30AM – 2:30PM.  Parents/Guardians may also log into a students PayforIt account to make an online payment. 

The Pay to Participate (PTP) structure is as follows:

High School Athletes: $200 PTP fee

Middle School Athletes: $100 PTP feeHigh School Fine

Arts $50 PTP fee

Middle School Fine Arts $25 PTP fee

Household cap examples:

There is a HOUSEHOLD CAP of $250. Students can be involved in multiple activities, but will be charged for each activity until they reached the household cap. There is a HOUSEHOLD CAP of $250.

If a household has two middle school students involved in athletics they will pay $200 total ($100 for each student)

If a household has two high school students involved in athletics they will pay $250 total (because there is a household cap of $250)

If a household has one middle school student and one high school student involved in athletics they will pay $250 total (because there is a household cap of $250).

If you make a payment before tryouts are complete, and your child does not make the team you will be refunded the money that was paid.

No one can participate in a regular season event, performance or concert until the full fee is paid.

REFUND OF FEES

A student is eligible for a full refund of fees ONLY if the following happens:

  1. Student is injured before first contest and is unable to return for the season

  2. Student is cut from the team during tryouts

  3. Student leaves the team before five days of practice have been completed

  4. Student is forced to leave the team due to family hardship before a game has been played (Must meet with Athletic Director)

  5. Student is ruled ineligible and is released from the team under OHSAA or North Ridgeville Eligibility guidelines before five days of practice have been completed

A student will NOT receive a refund if:

  1. Student quit the team after five days of practice have been completed

  2. Student is removed from the team for disciplinary reasons (school or team discipline)

  3. Student becomes ineligible during the season and cannot play under OHSAA or North Ridgeville
